Shilshole/Seattle
Friday I managed to meet Pat at Subria, and see the boat all cleaned up, without all the tools and materials. Wow what bright boat! We had a grey day so I didn't have to worry about the sunlight burning out the interior pics. The little flash fill really brings out the wood grain and trim details. This has seriously been a labor of love - so many thoughtful details, always with an awareness of future access requirements. I started at the companionway with a wide over-view, and worked my way to the bow and back. I even photographed spares with a rare islander Freeport burgee under the Starboard cushions. Then I went back and picked up even more details. . . We were closing up the boat, when I realized I wanted just one more shot - even with the curtains half tabbed up, the light inside was impressive. I hope you love, enjoy and sail this special boat for years! Please enjoy these shared snapshots - these pics are good therapy for me. Thanks All!
